HOA BOARD

Hot Topics from the Board:

Sovereign Oaks Pets:
Many of us are dog owners and we love our furry friends. Please keep them and other neighbors safe by ensuring that your dogs are under your control at all times. Remember that dogs not on leash can run into the street and in front of vehicles. They can also run up to adults and children out for a walk, and up to other dogs, which can be uncomfortable and even intimidating.

Also, please pay attention to the length of time your dogs are barking, particularly if they are left outside unattended. Dogs naturally bark at all sorts of things, but barking for extended periods of time can be an indication that the dogs require their owner’s attention. As well, dogs that bark for more extended time create a noise nuisance for neighbors.

Often, a polite conversation with a neighbor regarding such matters can be a helpful path to take. Thank you for keeping your dogs safe and for being respectful of your neighbors!

Lend a hand!
We still need volunteers to help with the fence project at the entrance of Sovereign Oaks. Please contact Charley Remsen right away! cremsen@sbcglobal.net

Investment Advisory Committee:
One of the discussions at our annual HOA meeting centered on the safeguarding and possible investment of our collective HOA funds. To continue these conversations, the Board is establishing an “investment advisory committee” which will make recommendations to the Board on ways to safely manage HOA savings. If you are interested in participating in this new committee, please send an email of intent to: board@sovereignoakshoa.com
